Users

Users are the last tier of the user hierarchy. Each user must have a title. For billing purposes, only active users count towards your user count in a given month.

Number: Auto-generated. See the Number Maintenance section for setup information.

First Name: The user's first name.

Last Name: The user's last name.

Email: The user's email address.

Active: Checkbox indicating if the user is active. Inactive users may not appear in some reference fields but can still be reported on.

Department: Auto-populated based on the title's department.

Manager: The user's manager.

Title: The user's title.

Start Date: Time cannot be entered before this date.

End Date: Time cannot be entered after this date.

User Actions

These links appear at the bottom of the form and trigger actions when clicked.

Email Invite: Sends the user an invitation to join ScopeJolt.

Reset Password: Sends the user an email to reset their password.

Users and Default Roles

When you create a new user they are assigned the Timesheet User role, allowing them to enter time on their timesheet.

Users and Billing

ScopeJolt's pricing is based on your organization's user count. When you create a new user, you will be charged for that user at the end of the month if you exceed the free tier user limit.
