Departments

Departments are the top level of the user hierarchy. They represent large segments of your organization.

Number: Auto-generated. See the Number Maintenance section for setup information.

Name: The name of the Department.

Department ID: Specify if you have a specific ID.

Department Head: References the User who is the head of the department.

Titles

Titles roll up to a department and can have multiple users associated with them. Each title has a base rate used as a fallback if another rate isn't found (see the rates section for details).

Number: Auto-generated. See the Number Maintenance section for setup information.

Name: The name of the title.

Active: Indicates if the title is active. This affects whether it can be selected for a user.

Department: References the department.

Base Rate: Used as a fallback rate (see the rates section for details).

Base Cost: The cost rate associated with the title.
